The UN Development Programme (UNDP)estimates that an average of three million African women work directly or indirectly with shea butter. The top shea nut–producing countries are Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin and Togo.  We purchase our Shea and Black Soap directly from these women who through affiliates of the Global Shea Alliance and the Union for Ethical BioTrade.

We Purchase Sustainable Ingredients from Small Suppliers.

Our Jojoba, Rose, Avocado and almost all of our other ingredients are sources directly from small, independently-owned farms and cooperatives in the United States and Worldwide, such as the poverty-stricken, Balkan region of Bulgaria.

We Donate at least 100 Bars of Soap + Jars of Body Butter to Veterans, Homeless Individuals + Families and/or People Suffering from Mental Illness.  If you have more than one Child, we will offer you a discount on your Order to make things easier for you.  Single Moms + Dads, Retired People, Students or those on Fixed + Limited Income can easily request a discount Online or in Person.  Please don’t be embarrassed to ask.
